Office & Field installers

Each tier below is delivered as a single signed Windows installer. The installer bundles all runtime dependencies (see Before you install).

Field clients are provisioned by the customer's Office administrator using the Operator Console pairing workflow; they are not sold separately as installers on this page.

FSO & Trader

MaeWest Blending (MWB) package — how it's delivered

Every MWB package is a complete deployment: 1 Trader (shore), 1 FSO (vessel), and 1 FSO Monitor (parent-company / head-office read-only oversight seat). One purchase provisions all three roles. To keep checkout simple — one Paddle SKU, one email — the Trader and FSO applications ship in a single signed Duo installer, and the Monitor ships in its own signed installer. Whichever party you are — shore Trader, FSO operator, or an inspection company procuring on behalf of a charter — the flow is the same. You buy once, receive both signed installers, and issue the counterparty licence yourself using the tool included in your MaeWest email. No support ticket is required to get your counterparty running.

1. After you buy

1. Complete checkout via Paddle.
2. Paddle emails your receipt.
3. MaeWest Software emails you a single delivery pack containing:
   • Your parent licence key (bound to your side — Trader or FSO — and to the machine you install it on).
   • A personal download link to both installers: MaeWest_MWB_Duo_*_Setup.exe (contains both the Trader and FSO applications) and MaeWest_MWB_Monitor_*_Setup.exe.
   • A personal link to the self-service counterparty licence tool so you can issue the paired licence to your Trader or FSO counterparty without contacting support.
4. Install the Duo on your side, enter your licence key on first run, then read out the Install GUID shown on the About dialog — you will need it in the next step.

2. Issuing the counterparty licence

1. Send the same MaeWest_MWB_Duo_*_Setup.exe to your counterparty (Trader → FSO or FSO → Trader). It is the same signed file you downloaded; each side runs the app that matches its licence.
2. Ask them to install it and open the About dialog. They will send you their machine's Install GUID.
3. Open the self-service counterparty licence link from your MaeWest email, paste their Install GUID, and issue the paired licence. The tool emails the .mwblic file straight to their address.
4. They drop the file in place and launch. The Trader ↔ FSO pairing is now bound to their machine and cannot be silently moved to another.

3. Who forwards which installer

Both signed installers travel with the parties that actually run them. Which one you keep at head office and which you forward depends on who purchased the package:

• If a Trader purchases — you install the Duo at your shore desk (Trader side). Forward the same MaeWest_MWB_Duo_*_Setup.exe to the vessel representative on the FSO (they install the FSO side), and forward MaeWest_MWB_Monitor_*_Setup.exe to the inspection company or FSO operator's head office for their oversight seat.
• If an FSO operator or inspection company purchases — you keep MaeWest_MWB_Monitor_*_Setup.exe at your head office for parent-company oversight, and forward MaeWest_MWB_Duo_*_Setup.exe to both the shore Trader and vessel FSO users so each installs the side that matches their licence.

The Monitor is a read-only companion: it verifies signed instruction and receipt bundles against the shared audit chain but never issues instructions and cannot mutate operational state.

Rotating a seat. Within your term, re-issuing a counterparty licence for a new machine is free and self-service — just use the same tool with the new machine's Install GUID. The previous binding is superseded.

Lost the delivery email? The self-service link and both installers are available from the same personal link that was in your MaeWest email. If you no longer have it, email contact@maewestsoftware.com from the address used at checkout, quoting your Paddle order id.

Before you install

System requirements & bundled runtimes

• Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 11 (x64).
• .NET 10 Desktop Runtime — bundled and installed silently if missing.
• Connected tiers (Starter / Professional / Enterprise QHSE) also bundle SQL Server 2022 Express and, where used, WireGuard for Windows.

Verify your download

Signature and checksum

Before running any MaeWest installer on a production machine:

1. Right-click the installer → Properties → Digital Signatures. The signer must read MaeWest Software and the signature must be valid.
2. Compare the SHA-256 hash to the value listed in your MaeWest licence email:
   Get-FileHash .\MaeWest-*-Setup-*.exe -Algorithm SHA256

If either check fails, do not run the installer. Contact support so we can reissue a fresh signed build.
